This site is dedicated to the memory of Bindu Shah.
Welcome to our Tribute Fund.
Our mum, Bindu was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in 1999 and fought this cruel illness very hard. Sadly she passed away on 2nd June 2005.
We have seen before our very own eyes how debilitating this illness is and would not wish anyone else to suffer from this. We are therefore trying to raise awareness of MND as well as trying to raise funds in order that research can progress.

To my friend
The suffering you went through 'in this life' , nobody would even wish on their worst enemy. Yet, you fought to the very end with courage that is beyond
all our imagination. Your body gave up on you, but
your 'spirit' shone through your eyes till the very end.
My greatest regret is not having been there for you as much as I would have liked to have been.
The previlage I had of speaking 'our thoughts' on your departure, was definitly not deserved and niether did I deserve the label of 'a good friend'
You with Harish have taught us all, that ' if all the trails & tribulations' one faces in life, were handled with even one hundreth of the courage & patience that you two have shown, not much in life would remain a problem.
May you now have 'Eternal Peace'.
